The Sending Service

The sending service was wonderful. We praised God together, heard scripture and prayed together. Thanks to Craig in the balcony you can see this beautiful picture of friends and family surrounding us physically and in prayer.

I have never felt so much love. Love for Jesus and how he calls each of us to love in different ways. And love from so many for us.

During the service I told everyone that I was reminded of a quote from Mother Teresa but I couldn't articulate it...here it is....

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."

I am grateful for those who surround me...for we belong to each other....and I'm anxious to get to Carmel for we belong to each other. All people everywhere...we belong to each other, that is the message of Jesus!
